Quimby Melton

Quimby is a 2000
cum laude graduate of the U of Georgia where he first learned about new media composition and humanities computing. He continued his technology training as a graduate student at UNLV (MA & PhD, English, '03 & '08), completing three of the university's "Internet Design and Technology Certificates": "Information Design" and "Web Development" ('06) and "Visual/Multimedia Design" ('07). Quimby's background allows him to approach clients and their projects from a unique perspective that combines: aesthetic, theoretical, and textual analysis; information management, textual composition, and info-text design; and new media/www skills.
Apart from his work with Studio Hyperset, Quimby manages a raging narrative creation/consumption habit, cultivates the Victorian "gentleman adventurer" ideal, co-edits SCRIPT, and administers ia(¶) (both from Studio Hyperset Media).
Seth E. Shirah

Seth has worked in marketing and sales for the last nine years and has experience designing, implementing, and presenting new marketing campaigns. He's spent a significant portion of his professional career unvailing marketing strategies in the home healthcare industry. Most recently, he's helped a generalized provider of skilled nursing and physical therapy successfully rebrand itself as disease management specialists.
Seth serves as Studio Hyperset's primary client liaison, helps develop long-term business strategies, and contributes to various creative projects. Apart from his work with Studio Hyperset, Seth works as a singer/songwriter.

Isaac studied Telecommunication Arts at the U of Georgia (ABJ, '04), focusing on production and distribution techniques for various forms of media. He also studied at UGA's New Media Institute where he worked with mobile applications for emerging media technologies. He has a professional history in both radio and television production and currently works in video editing and camera/master control operation at the CW Network in Atlanta, GA.
Outside of saving the world through new media and his work with Studio Hyperset, Isaac is interested in all aspects of film production including financing, editing, writing, and directing.

David studied government policy at the U of Georgia and the U of
Florida (BA, 2003; MS, 2008) focusing on theories of government and
arms control. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Design Construction
and Planning at UF. David's graduate studies have concentrated on
historic preservation, sustainability theory, and environmental
ethics. Professionally, David has performed geo-technical evaluation
and remediation work, co-founded a robotics engineering firm, and
managed commercial and governmental construction projects.
David serves Studio Hyperset as an intellectual advisor and business director and co-edits SCRIPT (from Studio Hyperset Media).

David received an ABJ (2008) from the U of Georgia's Grady College of Journalism and specializes in music production and video editing. He's completed work for such media outlets as the CW network's Atlanta affiliate and the Discovery Channel. In 2007, three of David's entries won the latter's "You Spoof Discovery 2.0 " contest:

Planet Earth, and
Cash Cab.
In addition to his work with Studio Hyperset, David works as a film director, producer, editor, and score composer. In May of 2008, David played a national tour of sidewalk shows across the eastern United States to support Nuçi’s Space: a non-profit health and music resource center located in Athens, Ga. He created a film record of the "Imagine Something Tour" -- a seven day, 4,004 mile trip -- and is currently editing the footage into a short documentary.
